Son1er  album Histoire Oubliée 100 %25 world reggae roots made in Soninké s’adresse à toute la jeunesse, hommage aux tirailleurs sénégalais, une histoire quelquefois « oubliée », il appelle à une réflexion sur la paix et l'unité africaine, porte-parole d’une Afrique tournée vers un monde sans haine ni démagogie.

L’album est très varié, un moreau world reggae peut succéder un morceau style new afro roots, reggae rock, african danchall, ou même funk blues jazz.

Enregistré entre Jah Founou,Gajahga et la France, avec la participation de talentueux musiciens traditionnels africains et français, on retrouve dans les 14 titres de l’album des textes engagés et plein d’espoir exprimés dans différentes langues :  Soninké – Lin’gala- Wolof – Sowayeli – Bambara- Anglais- Français.

Loin des clichés, Histoire Oubliée est un album qui nous fait connaître et apprécier un reggae savant mélange d’héritage roots tout droit venu des années 70 et d’expressions musicales traditionnelles.

Kayamanga, a new talent to be discovered and encouraged.

His first album, Forgotten History, 100%25 world reggae roots, made in Soninké, is an appeal to young people everywhere and a hommage to the often “forgotten” Senegalese soldiers who fought in both world wars. It calls for a reflection on peace and African unity and tells of an Africa which faces the world without hatred or demagogy.

The album is extremely varied, a world reggae tune following a new afro style- roots piece, or a reggae rock, African dancehall or even a funk blues jazz arrangement..

Recorded between Jah Founou, Gajahga and France with the participation of talented, traditional African and French musicians, the 14 titles present texts committed to a vision of hope in a variety of languages: Soninké, Lin’gala, Sowayeli, and Bambara, as well as French and English.

Innovatively fresh, Forgotten History gives us an opportunity to approach and appreciate this intelligent mix of the roots reggae heritage, straight out of the 1970s, and traditional musical expression.
